the guy has some nuts, if we had lost game 6 after getting back ahead and Harden didn't see the floor, the fallout could have been devastating

Players didn't execute. This is on them.

Don't blame McHale. They should have exploited the fastbreak and they just panicked.

Give Curry credit there, he made the right play. Had he been lazy for one second then Harden gets his one on one with no one in front of him but Klay Thompson who he abused 9/10 times.

McHale has grown as a coach just as our young team has grown.

Sick of seeing the anti thread getting bumped. I look forward to years of success under coach.

    He is awful on coaching.
Good relationship with players != good coaching.

Mchale's not going anywhere we should all know that by now. But just because he's not going anywhere. Just because we made it to the WCF and just because some Spur's fan hate's Popp does not mean Mchale is a great coach. He's not. When people say we need an upgrade on players no one get's offended. Yet for some reason suggesting an upgrade at coach seems to be the most disrespectful thing to some of you. It's silly.

Hey we got to the WCF's without a high quality PG I guess that means we shouldn't go after one in the off season, lol. Sound logic...

I don't like the Rockets defensive strategies, which don't vary during the game. We need to switch tactics to slow down great offensive players. Make them have to think, instead of Steph Curry knowing we are going to switch a big out on him. We never varied how we played Stef or Klay, we just kept switching, that is on the coaches.

As flawed as McHale is he has improved quite a tad.....

I think we should also consider upgrading the assistant coaching staff in the defensive department

It's not disrespectful, it's your opinion and that's fine. Many of us just disagree with you. But when posters claim "McHale sucks" and the like...that's disrespectful and wrong.

That logic is as flawed as the point you're pushing. Coach McHale actually made some ingenious decisions that kept us IN the playoffs this season. Is he the best coach in the L? No. Is he even close to the worst? No. Is he the best fit for this growing team? Maybe. Yes...I'd like to think so.

The point that I was pushing was that the logic was flawed, you agree with me but it's flawed. Spare me the replies JUST TO REPLY. My point is that the logic of some of you being so offended and so up at arms at any criticism of Mchale especially after to making it to the WCF's but our players are not held to that same standard. There are posts about Harden being terrible in the playoffs and Dwight and most of our other players but in response no seems to get as upset as the fans of Mchale seems to get. Some people think we need an upgrade at coach and they voice that. They are not evil or anti Houtson Rockets because they feel this way it's ridiculous.
