roughing the kicker is a dumb rule, the guy is gonna dive and try to block the punt, its not like they can stop mid dive and avoid the punter if hes right there infront of theme.
sage - we were winning by 10 with 4 min left on the other teams 30 yd line aj - we are losing in the 3rd qtr there's a difference
6, who thinks mario is going to be a finalist for defensive player of the week? 2 sacks, 1 ff, and 4 tackles
Nope. Anyway, done talking about this. Point stands, blame spreads equally for mistakes made throughout the game. Don't eff it up, Schauby...
You expect your backs and receivers to fight for extra yardage bc that's what they are built for. Quaterbacks slide. They don't take those types of hits in practice and in most games. Sage was stupid for jumping into the air for extra yardage.
Thats why its called running into the kicker, not roughing....hence the 5 yard penalty instead of the 15 yard roughing. I do agree running into the kicker is a silly rule in both college and nfl.
This doesn't really make sense - especially considering the two circumstances. By that logic - there's no reason to 'start Sage'. Schaub's mistakes are just shared by the rest of the team in your 'equal blame' theory, right? But hey, you're probably right about not needing to talk about it at this point. Let's just hope the team can get it together.
No, you missed my point. Fumble in 2nd quarter = fumble in 4th quarter. Texans sucking again on offense.
BULL****. That's a ****ty spot. EDIT: I know the point you are trying to make. I just think it's wrong. I will never agree that a fumble, say, in a 0-0 game in the first quarter is the 'same' as a fumble with a minute left. Particularly when you get that fumble trying to needlessly leap into the air and you are a QB. We'll just have to agree to disagree.
I bet you Miami wins this challenge somehow. Its just the Kubiak curse, even when he's not challenging.. he loses
