We caught a break that Miami tried to pass on 2nd and 3rd down. All they had to do was run it, pick up a few more yards and run the clock out some.

 

I think the Fins were hoping the Texans would waste a TO there. We've got two TO's, come on Schaub and crew. Let's pull this fugly game out!

yeah, horrible play calling. They be guaranteed at least 6 yards with two carries. Over a minute would have been milked off the clock and they'd be in a much better position to nail a field goal.

 

The Texans would have used their timeouts.

 

Whew! I was worried about a potential Salaam meltdown, trying to pass the ball out of the endzone.

 

That still benefits the fins regardless.

 

They just need 20-30 more yards... there's 36 second, and two timeouts.

that's what i was thinking.... when they mentioned kubiak was taking the TO to ice the kicker i thought "what kind of boneheaded call is that?"

i was relieved to find out it was taken by miami.
