Let's keep in mind we won the series.

    Problems today:

    - The offense came up small. There was some bad luck with a couple of long flies that barely missed being a HR, but the RISP hitting was trash. Yordan really disappointed.

    - Arrighetti shouldn't have been allowed to surrender two baserunners before he was pulled in the 6th -- one runner max with a reliever warming. Astros need to have a general mindframe of "anybody not Framber only throws <90 pitches". The rotation is full of youngbucks who are pitching more than they ever have. I'm not overly mad at the exact substitute decisions considering we were losing the entire game -- the Big 3 is fresh for tomorrow.
    ____

The last 6 games (3 OAK / 3 LAD) were a small setback (3-3 record) but not disastrous. Team has done well overall this season considering all the injuries, but the Astros need another starter and another bat. Maybe Tucker finds a new leg too and maybe JV feels "comfort" again.

Keeping Dubin on the 26-man roster ahead of Whitley is a choice.

Not sweeping the White Sox ourselves is going to come back to bite us...

Also, looks like Loperfido might need to go back down to Sugar Land since major league pitchers have figured him out.

I don't know what you do, but I'm pretty sure you're doing it wrong.

Only taking 2 of 3 from them in this close race is not enough.

No it isn't. We are tied with Seattle again, and the Rangers aren't far behind. I know, "you can't win them all." But you better win more than your competitors.

Seattluck just better hope they continue winning 1-run games vs the Astros and the Astros continue being one of the most injured teams in MLB -- Arluckton too.

Injuries are the main reason (and Abreu's Guinness-level falloff) why this is even a conversation.

Astros still have another series vs Chi Sox too -- SEA does not.

Those Rays series we have coming up are getting a whole lot easier as they continue to trade their entire team away.

Hope the scouting reports on all those players we have never seen are up to date.

    GREAT

Seattluck will also enjoy the same privilege.

Seattluck also enjoyed their 1-run luck in their first series vs Brady's 2nd hood -- they've now lost 6 consecutive 1-runners.

SEA and ARL better hope the Astros continue being decimated by injury.

Astros health (or lack there of) is their oxygen.

Yeah... he was nothing special -- and definitely not infallible like his fans portray him to be.
