It is what it is, they have the right to hold a grudge three years later, we also have the same right to get pissed when an a-hole pitcher throws at our guys heads. The heat between the two teams is there, but last night just showed the absurdity of the whole selective outrage when it comes to the Astros.

    - The fact Joe Kelly was on the 18 Red Sox, who employed similar sign stealing tactics and beat LA in the WS was the "enforcer"
    - Mookie Betts is like, right there. Suddenly nobody gives a s*** anymore when they join their team. Same with Gerrit Cole and the Yankees. Despite the report coming back clean for '19 they still all insist we used buzzers over there and everyone on the 19 squad are cheaters. But welcome Gerrit Cole.
    - At this point, if anybody around the league, players, coaches, whatever, don't acknowledge this is a league wide problem with all the new information and the sealed letter, then they are just willfully ignorant at this point.

What it all comes down to, it's sore loser-ing. The players that lost squeeze onto sign stealing as a way to justify and excuse their own failures. Take a guy like Cody Bellinger who set the WS record for strikeouts. He had a big freaking mouth last offseason You don't think a guy like that is looking for an excuse?

Dusty is old school he was brought in specifically for this reason. I would expect some chin music tonight but he's not going to put any of our rookies in that position. We have no veteran pitchers going tonight most likely, and LA knew that which is why they picked that particular spot to bow up. If you're going to throw at heads you need to be ready to throw hands, not hide in the dugout.

That's one thing I don't get. Brantley wasn't on the team in 2017 and Kelly wasn't on the Dodgers. Why is Kelly trying to hurt Brantley for something he wasn't a part of? I expect pitchers to throw at Correa, Bregman, Springer, Altuve and Gurriel all season. But Kelly going after Brantley is laundry fighting laundry.

Do you think that Kelly will be suspended?

Bc Cody Bellinger and likely the rest of those clowns are adamant we were "cheating" last year too. "THEY STOLE SIGNS!!!!!!" With a guy on second base? Is this not baseball?

Kelly was on the 17 Red Sox that lost to us as well...even if they were cheating, too.

If Manfred and MLB are really serious at cutting this crap out right away, then he will at least get a significant fine. I mean there was already a standing warning to all teams going into the season, the fact Kelly was able to throw at two guys heads with zero consequences and a warning already out there, just further shows Manfred is an moron and and a**hole.

This is how fans are. Not sure why players would be expected to be different.

Manfred wasn't on the field or in the stadium. What was he supposed to do in the moment?

Telework. Millions of Americans have tried it over the past few months.

Joe kelly had a history at Louisville; he routinely got punked out at bars for running his mouth and then getting out of dodge

Astros can vent, it's satisfying, but it will only backfire. They will lose the media battle. That is worth winning. And they will get suspended. Not a good season to get suspended. They need to just take the base and the lumps. That helps us win the media battle and the game. But very hard to do.

Prepare the umps accordingly before hand. Instruct them "you see anything fishy you get it under control right away" SImple. All eyes were on this series.

It's the perfect season to get suspended. A majority of our bullpen are interchangeable nobodies that can easily be replaced.

You have to defend yourself. I’d rather it be on the field but I’ll take a brawl if it’ll make some rando think twice about plucking our hitters.

Surprised he missed Kelly's intent to have Brantley step on his foot at first base.

Agree with that. So long as it's not the lineup.
