    That was a pretty wicked move by Kershaw, though Altuve should have known it was coming. The pitch before he shortened his lead by a step or so.

    You know, I'm a huge fan of Gomez' enthusiasm and energy he brings to the team, but I've been questioning the decision of him being put in the 2 hole of the line-up if he keeps struggling like this.

    He's gotten much better on defense, but all that takes is work. I don't know how much better he can get on the bases, since so much of that is instinct.
