Time for the offense to get going again.

    Lidge blows another Save.

That's one HUGE distinction between Wagner and Lidge: Wagner is a hardarse country boy who won't back down or care if you homered off him or not.

Oh well, at least he didn't completely blow the game for us, minor damage done...

No hits and a run....Brad is his own worst enemy right now.

Let's get Lidge a win so he can feel better about himself.

I wish Brad was more aggressive, and would Buzz hitters more.....I think he let's them get too comfortable at the plate.

I take it back... there was a little bit of improvement since he didn't give up any hits.

The leadoff walk was horrible... inexcuseable.

I can understand pitching around Lofton... an Astro killer that rocked him last night.

Lidge doesn't hold runners, so they take bases like crazy... neccesitating the walk to Drew.

Then, two fly-outs to right... minimizing the damage that was only inflicted because he had a completel loss of conciousness and threw 4 horrible balls to a nobody.

Lidge is obviously not a great closer as he was, I was mostly hoping for "good" this year...mostly...

That's the type of slider he needs to throw to guys when there's 2 strikes on them... unhittable.

But, to do that... you need to GET AHEAD IN THE COUNT... which he hasn't done since last September (it seems like).

Well, maybe his funky mechanics are developing due to some mental defeciencies.

Well since Nieve wasn't able to make it out of the 5th, our bullpen is now short as well. Lidge has really put us in a bind now.

Man, does Brad really think that's going to help Lidge's confidence?
