There's nothing worse than doing the promotional crap during a crucial part of the game.

CRAP.... WAY too many guys have gotten hit in the hand last 8 years on the Astros.

Maybe time to see Burke at SS for awhile, but the Stros are going to miss Everett's defense big-time.

Looks like we lost Adam for a while. I would be very surprised if something isn't broken. He got nailed.

Adam got hit in the hand on a 95 mph fastball... just like he did 2 years ago, and just like Ensberg did last year.

I'm getting a bit pissed off at this trend... I wouldn't mind seeing Penny get nailed as retribution.

Yea...let Gallo hit one of them. He will get suspended a game or two but we won't miss him. ;)

Jesus Christ, I hope he's ok.

People can knock his bat all they want, but he's the best defensive SS in the league.

Retribution for what? It was a good pitch.

Sucks for Adam, seems like something freakish happens to him every year. He's said before he didn't feel comfortable wearing the hand guard that Bagwell used. This may change his mind.

I'd imagine Bruntlett would be the starter over Burke. Really hope AE's ok though.

I remember Wheeler stood up as our fighter last season in the cubbie series. He was thrown out too wasn't he?

I loved how he beamed the cubs after what they did to us.

Lets see... Bagwell had hit broken twice, Everett now twice (likely), Ensberg almost broke it (and the way it affected his post-season hitting, he might as well have broken it).

At least we'll get to see more Burke. Bruntlett will still be the late-inning defensive replacement, while Burke will move over to 2nd in the late innings... but Eric's offense isn't as steady as Burke's.

Also, they'd probably call up an extra bat for the bench... possibly Scott.

F**** eh... not only do they not pitch Penny inside, they give up a freakin hit.

Might as well of drilled him.
