Through and through haters bashed him, doubters couldn't stand him but Doc never backed away from his word. He was calm and confident. Thank you Doc for all your efforts. I've haven't been here long but I can tell Doc was something else for this board. I genuinely enjoyed his posts no matter how vague or confusing they were. I always thought that they were fun to figure out. It was fun reading other people's speculations. Doc's tweet pretty much gave me confidence during this whole fiasco and I never doubted him. I just hope he's not retiring for good. There'll never be another Doc on this board or any other board for that matter.

I remember the early days. There was OP and there was Doc Rocket. I never doubted DR and always enjoyed his cryptic posts.

I can only hope he returns at some point. I really don't see how he can stay away, he's been doing this for so long. I fully expect him to show up out of the blue (as he always has) with some groundbreaking and mindboggling nugget of code for us to decipher at a key point in the future, and I look forward to it.
