I think the Lakers would be idiotic not to make that trade, but I doubt the Clippers will entertain it.

Well, on the other hand it's not really questionable whether Mike D'Antoni is a good coach.

I don't think the Doc Rivers deal really has an impact on where Dwight Howard signs. The Clippers had to be forced to surrender a #1 for Rivers, I cannot see Sterling giving up Griffin and Bledsoe for an older, injury prone Dwight Howard.

The argument for saying Erik is not an elite coach is like saying Phil/Pop are not an elite coach. Elite coach and elite players go hand in hand. Championship are made of both elite coach and elite players. What an elite coach can do is adjust his system fit his players not the other way around

Mike D'Antoni is a terrible coach. It is not that his system is bad, it is his coach style. He was trying to change his players to fit his system, which is not going to work. He needs young players and players able to shoot from the 3 point line, which Lakers is neither young or a threat from the 3s.

why wouldn't the clippers entertain it? howard and blake both are limited some what offensively, but on defense Howard takes control of the game. A center who can disrupt the opposing offense just by being there completely changes the game. If I'm the clippers, I'd be down. If I was the lakers gm, I wouldn't entertain the offer.

Blake griffin for Dwight Howard straight up is fair but adding Bledsoe is way too much. From a pr standpoint, its a bad move as well. Clipper fans would be up in arms to see their first franchise player get traded and lakers fans would think that Howard is the biggest joke ever to leave the lakers for the clippers. I also read that Garnett thinks Howard is a joke and a clown, so if he finds his way to clippers, getting Howard might not be a good move.
