I just don’t get it. It bums me out to see the D&D becoming people fuming all day. There was more often decent conversations in the past but it feels like it’s all getting drowned out by rage posts.

People have either been giving into the rage or they generally just stop posting. Here I am trying to be a glue guy, like a real dipshit idiot.

 

Maybe I came here looking for a unified compassionate response to a tragic death? Instead I found the complete opposite par the course...

 

I really don’t think we’ll have unified responses … for a long, long time. Nothing is real anymore, we are in a post fact world, a fever dream.

The worst actors tend to set the culture .... just look around the D&D, it's a shiit show where it's pretty much normal for posters to call others all kinda things just because they disagree and that dude is the worst of the worst. He normalizes bad behavior in literally every post - idiot, moron, magat.


I've done it myself in the past but have tried to refrain from that in recent years ... even to the point of just avoiding the D&D altogether, then I catch myself joining the conversation and almost instantly regret it.

We had a similar section over on the Texans board and eliminated it completely, now we don't allow political discussion on that forum at all, mainly because of the poo flinging.
