14.02 ERA is JV's ERA since coming back from a suspicious injury?!?!?! In 5 of 6 starts, he has given up 4+ ERA. In 2 seasons, JV has 10 wins and 9 losses. In the 2 years including his stint with the Mets, his strikeout/innings are down. JV will have a new team next year in 2025, Fox Sports.

 

We've gotta put Blanco back in the rotation, no? Can't afford to lose games to close out the season while figuring out if JV will ever look like old JV again.

 

Verlander cannot be in the playoff rotation, and perhaps not even on the playoff roster

 

I think Blanco should start again and JV needs to skip a start or 3.

Yea middle middle and middle up fastballs are hard to hit.

But I felt he got unlucky on the first 3 run Homer nkt hooking foul, but after that everything was getting squared up and finding a hole.

 

JV is a known ********er. For sure.
