If we make the playoffs we are likely locked into the 6th seed. This is the seeding I want... 1. Tampa 2. White Sox 3. Oakland 4. Twins 5. Yankees 6. Astros 7. Blue Jays 8. Cleveland In this scenario we play Oakland in the 3 game series. Then we would play the winner between the Blue Jay and White Sox. Tampa, New York, Minnesota, and Cleveland would all be on the opposite bracket and we would not see them until the ALCS.
Fiers can only hide so much. Hopefully that would inspire the offense. Chapman a huge loss for the A's
Stros looking to keep Bumgarner's suckass season going. Good start thus far if they avoid a DP. Eta- or a bad K call... smh
Lulz, Springer just got a strike called on him that was a legit 4 baseball-widths off the plate. The Ghost of Eric Gregg is pleased.
I walked in the room in the 1st when they were showing his pitch breakdown for the season...I thought initially "those aren't terrible numbers at all: .770 on the FB, .750 on the cutter, etc....then I realized that wasn't the OPS but the slugging%.
we are having bad at-bats . so many 0-2's 1-2's ... even Bum can get guys out when we give him favorable counts all the time . granted , hes being aggresive and throwing strikes I think dusty should shake up the order , its not that i think it would necessarily be any better , but it might get guys in a different mindset
Another good start by Urquidy, not that it f**king matters. Fans love to use buzzwords like pathetic and embarrassing, I never do because slumps happen in baseball. What we've seen from these hitters recently is pathetic, I think they just want the season over with.
Maybe they were cheating last year? lol. Its hard to explain the across the board struggles of our hitters this season.
