All that running Correa was doing for that triple. All for nothing.

Correa should have just went all the way home. I would if I knew Gattis was up.

I sure am glad I'm not Hinch. He has to make a tough decision with the closer role. Giles, Harris, Feliz, Luke?

Why wasn't Gattis pinch hit for there? Rasmus? Castro even? Gattis lunging ass against a pitcher with that arm angle didn't have much of a chance.

With Gregerson's era well above 4.00, I think now it's ok to remove him from the closer role for Harris. And then once Giles get's back under 4 he can move into the 8 role for Gregerson and edge up.

Feliz mainly pitches in extra innings. Sigh...

Every team? No, I don't think every manager would but you are right most would; especially old school managers. I don't see any reason to not give most relievers a second inning if they have a very easy prior inning. Not going to crush Hinch over it because he isn't the only one that does it... He just seems to go on autopilot and if his pen is good, it tends to work out.

1 out situation would be diff. Gattis is always swinging for the fences. Usually k or pop fly.

Bc there really was no reason to celebrate like he won a title. With 1 out, at least chances are that the game would be won...with 2 outs, chances are that the triple doesnt do much for you.

Sorry I don't judge someone off 1 random HR. I don't think gattis is a good hitter in a 2 out situation.
