Ace, does Lidge ever not impress you?

1 unearned run and strikes out the side with great movement on his pitches.
    That is impressive.

All i'm saying is it's funny how people are so eager to diss Lidge. Look how quick he was to jump on here and crack on Lidge. I guess he was so eager to get to do it since the Lidge bashers don't get to do it much anymore.

I was at the game today and those new Dback jerseys really pissed me off. They completely stole the astros colors. I kept thinking the astros were in the field when they werent or visa versa

Was it me or was that pitch to Wandy really low and not a strike? That was a pretty harsh strike.

    Why does Garner use Palmeiro?

Scott and Lamb on the bench. Am I missing something?

If you don't get Palmeiro an AB in that situation, when do you get him some AB's?

If you're not willing to trust him in that situation, why is he on the team?

I fear I'm bringing up more questions than answering...

Is it just me or why did O pinch hit when they should've use Luuuuke? Hello, bases loaded but, no let O GIDP and waste an opportunity!

I mean c'mon I'm happy we are winning but, we STILL are not taking full advantage of our opportunities.

Oh well ... good job by Wandy gritting five innings out. He's starting to learn how to battle and get outs when he's in trouble. Kudos to you, Wandy.

Now let's just see how the rest of this game plays out.

If you're going for the kill shot you go with your chief headhunter, Luuuuke! Hope this move doesn't bite us in the ass.

Actually, I'd take Lamb's bat over Luke... more pop, and more experience as a pinch-hitter.

But once again... if the team can't trust OP to bat in that sort of situation, there's no point in having him on the team. Also, if he is on the team, the manager has a responsibility to keep everybody as fresh (with often AB's) as possible... Luke/Lamb don't have as big of a problem getting them as OP does.

OP came up big down the stretch last year... and likely has at least one decent stretch in him before the year is done. Right now, he's scuffling worse than anybody else in the lineup.

Yeah, I see your point and it's largely a 50/50 call, I'm just saying Luke is HOT and so is Lamby for that matter. It's just an instinct but that was not the right situation for OP just my opinion.

Another headscratcher here guys! This would've been the appropriate time for OP because he's a good contact hitter or if a runner was on 1st you could play hit and run. Morgan Ensberg? I guess Phil is trying to slow down our prolific offense. Geez.

Nice game today by Biggio. 3 for 4, 2 doubles, and he just stole third! Damn, the ol' guy can still get it done. :D
