I'm behind this idea. If nothing else, it accomplishes two things:

1.) gets Lidge away from the harsh spotlight for awhile;

2.) gets some different pairs of eyes watching him and offering solutions.

kinda funny, last year i was all for trading the farm to get someone on the deadline. I was sick to my stomach worrying about the stros getting something done. This year . . . just the opposite. Stand Pat . . . not trades . . . the next two hours i probably will develp an ulcer.
