Not one NL team that has a shot at the playoffs is playing quality baseball today... just a microcosm of the league overall.

Doesn't look to good...Theres not much left in the bullpen and we are coming up to the weaker side of the lineup.....I'm still in shock...How many times does someone hit a HR off of us in Dramatic fashion... :(

They still have Miller in, and also have Wheeler, Lidge, Borkowski, Albers, Sampson... and they only used Wilson off the bench as a PH.

Turnbow went from awesome to pretending he's Lidge.

Actually, Sheets gave up a 2 run HR to Griffey... and then Turnbow gave up 1 additional one after he came in.

Unbelievable how this game has swung in favor of the D'Backs so fast.

I know it may be unseemly to feel bad for a multi millionaire playing a game, but I feel sorry that Clemens has to put up with this crap every time he pitches. The Astro bats cost him the Cy Young award last year, and now the team can’t even keep it together to get him a win in what should have been a walk-in-the-park finish. This is so ****ed…

I realize that, but Turnbow still has been scuffling for the last few weeks.

Well, he's obviously not pitching for the money. Not really. Not at this point in his career. He's pitching for the challenge and because he wants to win. I don't think it's hard to feel sorry for a Hall of Famer who's mired in mediocrity.

    Lidge into the game.

It's pretty bad when I have more trust in our middle relief guys like Miller and Springer over Qualls, Wheeler and Lidge.

i still don't understand when history has shown that lidge can't handle a non save situation, that garner continues to plug him in those situations??
