Nix, thank you for your massive contribution to our tankathon. You will be an asset to teams that need a higher draft pick the following year. Your invisible stats record on the floor will not be broken anytime soon. When the whole team cannot buy a three, you usually are the one who can make it like a miracle. Unfortunately, you typically brick a three with no people 10fts around you. If you were a stock, I'd definitely buy you to hedge other stocks. Good luck with your journey. I'd root for you when you join Shanghai Tigers.

Nix is a rare Rockets legend that achieved the almost impossible--uniting Clutchfans opinions. As far as I can remember, only Hakeem has ever accomplished that feat.

You forgot about Silas. Him sucking is the sole topic that both KPJ and Sengun stans agree upon.

I will remember him for hitting the rim while trying to pass the ball to the open guy in the corner.

I know Daishen Nix got a lotta hate on this board during his short stint with the Rockets, but to me he was beautiful.

    Rubenesque!

Nix had one decent game, never progressed. TyTy was way better than him after his G-League stint as a backup. I hope he will get some valuable minutes to show what he's capable of doing despite Amen's addition.

Not sure if he is the worst player Rox ever gave significant minutes to.

I remember Ryan Bowen, Corey Brewer, old Rafer Alston... Squid? Who else? Joe Chee?

I would honestly prefer Joe Chee over him.

All these guys were way better, except maybe Squid. I'm afraid Nix was indeed the worst. Maybe Two Sandwiches was similarly bad. And Royce White.

Solute to all those put up w/ 2.5yrs of horrendous games, cheered themselves up, not missing out any silver lining or any memes (on/off court).

A dark era ended finally, during which this team looked like a mess. Most involved in the shet: Wall, CWood, EGo, Silas, kpj etc., had gone.
Nix, one of them, played a leading role in the drama - nobody can explain why Silas allowed him tons of PT while ignoring others who should've been put in a higher priority position for development, say tyty, no matter how terrible Nix played, his PT never dwindled. BYE!
