How many Astros' games do you get? I figured in Dallas, I wouldn't get any, but I get nearly everyone! Dish Network ain't half bad.
Early in the season was terrible. They didn't even have opening freakin day on!!! I think all but 1 game in May were on the dish.
Hidalgo with an even clutcher HR!!! Woohoo!!! We have the lead!!! Edit: I don't know if "clutcher" is a word but I am going with it.
Just got back from the game. GREAT GAME. There was a playoff atmosphere in a game vs. the D-RAYS!!!!! The Berkman homerun was a rope. It either went 463 or 468, I think 463. That homerun got outta the park in no time at all. The kent hr, was great. For Lugo, Me, my brother, and two guys next to me cheered. No one else around us cheered. I could hear some cheers over the boos though, not much.
I believe on 610 they said that it went 476 which would make it the longest homerun hit at Minute Maid. That would be pretty impressive because I remember Sosa blasting one that almost hit the lights in left field. Then again that record should be replaced since he uses corked bats.
I stand corrected. It wasn't 463, but it WAS 468. This is what they said on the tale of the tape at the game. I remembered it as being 463, or 468, and I asked the people I was with, and they said it was 468. My memory is bad though.
I was at the game and it kicked ass. It was first time at that building. I had seats near the right field line, section 122. That Berkman shot in the 1st was hella long. I initially thought it was like 480 or something, but I saw ESPN say it was 464 or something. It went into the upperdeck in centerfield, just right of that big scoreboard video replay thing. Kent tied the game, and Hidalgo hit the go ahead run. The place went crazy. Each time Lugo went up to bat, he was booed heavily.
I stood under the railroad tracks, to the immediate right of the pavilion(if your looking from home). I had a great time. It was a great game. I think ESPN was right about the HR.
