Sure. It’s been a very low sample size not even near meaningful, and it’s been so sporadic that it’s hard to get too much from all that.
This is about what 3-5 SP righty can do to us without having a great day. Have seen a lot of Taillon and he's grinding. Would have been great to get something from that 2 on no outs. Framber doing great but can flip a switch any second. Tuve AB's look like he's guessing and decides before to swing or take the pitch. Does't swing middle middle but chases everything after that.
UGGGH Now isn't the time, but if in say 2 years Altuve sucks and the team is still a WS contender, does Espada have the balls to bench Altuve and make him a utility guy for the last 2 years of his contract?
Union makes sure the entire contract is paid out regardless if he plays or not. He is just incredibly streaky.
I realize this, I'm just wondering if he sucks the last 2 years of the contract do they pay him 20 mil to go away, or would they bench him. Or give him the Biggio treatment at the expense of the team?
It is extremely unlikely they force him to retire. But if he is terrible and recognizes it and it was his idea, then I’m pretty sure they could rework his contract to buy out those last 2 years.
