    Actually, the ball would fly farther in humid air. H2O has a low molecular weight than N2 or O2, so a higher amount in the air is going to mean less dense air, all other things equal.

    Horrible scene. Hope the child recovers fine.

    Man I don't want to be "that guy" but me personally as a parent no way I have a child sitting on my lap down the lines unless the it's one of the few fields that have nets from end to end. Heck, any kid I'm not sure they should be down the lines with no net.
