Smoltz and the other broadcaster are making some good points about how the Cubs built a good lineup. The only everyday players that are not the all or nothing hitters in the Astros current lineup are Altuve, Bregman, Correa, and Gurriel. The rest of the hitters in the lineup are redundant. The infield is set so need to work on the outfield hitters somehow in the off season through trades and/or free agency. Work on the outfield and pitching and this team is as good as any out there.

 

Well...yeah. They said something that we all know.

 

Apparently the Astros front office didn't know before coming into the off season or at the trade deadline but whatever.

Devenski needs to be in the rotation. He's been valuable in the pen but he's needed more as a starter.

 

Reed sucks, Castro sucks and Marisnick can catch. Sometimes this team is so hard to watch. Just sitting here waiting for this impending loss.
