If Bob thinks Kubiak is the best coach out there, this can't happen fast enough. I'll forge my birth certificate to say I'm a native Philadelphian.

Well gee Bum, you think you might be saying this **** because that "great" coach is about to hire your cupcake of a son?? Seriously, would anybody be shocked if they found out that the Texans were behind parading Bum and Dan out there to give their hoo-rahs about Gary?? What the hell is going on here??? Why is it THIS much of a struggle to get rid of a guy who has CONTINUED to under-perform in every facet of his job?!? Great coach?? GREAT COACH?!? WE ARE 5 AND 10. DOUBLE DIGIT LOSSES. Name me ANY "GREAT" coaches that have taken THIS hard of a step back THIS early in their careers with THIS much talent??? I feel like I'm in that Simpsons episode where Grimey is completely baffled by the fact that everybody in the power plant loves Homer, and is blind to his complete stupidity. I feel like we are ALL Grimey, and Gary Kubiak is Homer.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again.....

    **** YOU, BOB!

Gary is a good guy. Gary is the hometown guy. Gary is Bob's friend. Therefore, Gary is going nowhere.

I might be moving in 2011. Of the potential destinations, several have football teams. San Diego, New Orleans, Jacksonville, Seattle, Chicago. I might have to start following one of those teams.

If memory serves me correct, and it usually does, Dan and Bum swore that david carr could lead the franchise to greatness after the 2-14 season, basically promoting tio Bob's cause that david carr should be kept.

I keep wondering if a future me will be sent back in time (to the present day) to assassinate Gary Kubiak (or Bob McNair) for the good of Houston sports.

Then we wouldn't have a franchise to b*tch about.

I'd trade owners in a heartbeat. Jerry Jones is too hands on, but he's ****ing passionate just like Joe Fan. He's like a kid and the Cowboys are his toy.

Meanwhile, Bob McNair sits in his owner's box isolated and blind to the product on the field and the fan's discontent. Bob is satisfied owning a NFL franchise. Jerry wants to win and ain't coming in second to no one!!!

Much more likely to happen than this Cowher thread coming true.

I searched for something to back you up but couldn't find anything. What I didn't find was that Phillips and Pastorini have been making similar comments about Kubiak for at least the last 4 years. They've always had this opinion of Kubiak and nothing that has happened this year or the last has changed their minds.

    Uhmmmmmm.............

AlbertBreer Hearing that Houston owner Bob McNair likes the idea of having Bill Cowher there, but isn't convinced that Cowher would come to Texans. ...

AlbertBreer Does NOT mean Kubiak's out. In fact, McNair may hesitate to do anything if he can't land him, since he'd then likely turn back to Kubiak

So, what? Cowher is Plan A, and Kubiak is McNair's Plan B? Only, he's not willing to put in the actual EFFORT of seeing his Plan A through?? Is Bob THAT afraid of losing Kubiak to Denver?? Has Kubiak Jedi mindtricked everyone at Reliant Park into thinking that he's still an up and coming name or something?? This isn't 6 years ago!!! Kubiak has proven NOTHING as a head coach! LET HIM GO!

This month, every single thing McNair has said, or reportedly decided on doing, has been met with almost universal derision, but there is still time for him to wake up, fire Kubiak/Smith and hire a top flight coach. But he has to pay attention to what the customers are saying, and ignore people with hidden agendas.

I can't arbitrarily pick some other team to root for. Can't. They wear Houston on the uniform, and that's that. Can't even pick some random NHL team to follow. Only exception is I like FC Bayern Munich.

What I can and will do is wash my hands of a regime. Drayton convinced me that winning wasn't what mattered most when he canned Hunsiker and ushered in the Purpura era. I haven't spent a dime on those bums since and don't watch MLB. I'm sure I'll still watch the NFL, but after 9 years of devoting my Sundays to going to these games, putting up with the Carr extension and all the other ridiculousness....I'll put an end to any Texans spending.

Test me, Drayton2. DonSterling2. Test me. See if I'm dumb enough to think Wade Phillips, Head Coach in waiting is going to get me to buy in.

"Houston" doesn't appear on the uniform.

At least my Flyers are having a good season.
