Going into the "most meaningful season in history". Why not trade for a good Corner? Why not just pay Dante? I mean dante wasnt great but he wasnt terrible either. Nobody should be surprised we lost a game this way. We could have been 1-2 because of this same thing all else equal.
Did anyone catch the two d'ends #72M I think get pancaked by the cowboys line. The dline needs help we need a hawaiian nose tackle
Hehehehe. You know, as a Cowboys fan for my whole life, it's posts like yours that MAKE me want to 'run my mouth', as you say. However, I won't. I already said, I expected the Texans to win this game, but that there were some definite red flags warning of this result. In any case, I like the Texans too, I am a Houston resident, and I want to see the Texans do well; it has been enjoyable watching the team this year. They can be special. As for the Cowboys, maybe it was good for them to get a nice big dose of humility early on, rather than late-season when they wouldn't have time to right the ship. Both teams are probably going to make the playoffs, which will make me happy. In any case, I bet the thing you hate even worse than Cowboys fans 'running their mouths' is Cowboys fans being gracious and wishing the Texans the best, regardless of how much you hater types hate.
that was 100% McCain's fault, he was in a terrible position. The Cowboys were on the what? 10 yard line? Romo had a 1 or 2 step drop and gunned it right at Williams I'm not sure why you are apologizing for Jackson, there is a large consensus that he was been nothing short of TERRIBLE
Jackson is a rookie CB. I'll give him more than three games before completely dismissing him. On the other hand, Wilson has not been at least average for a while. We need someone new out there. Barber or Troy Nolan can't play worse than Wilson has been playing.
Yea, we should have kept an injured JJ when we cut him. We can no longer sign him because another team already has, oh wait.... Yea, it sucks that the one guy, Foster, that hasn't "failed" is no longer on the team, oh wait.... Yea, when Andre was out of the game last week our remaining depthless wide receivers really sucked it up, oh wait... Sorry, I don't
This is late and skepticism is understood because I didn't post it here, but I called this game all last week. The Texans' sorry secondary + the Cowboys very good defense + the Texans can't handle prosperity + Cowboys sense of desperation = Cowboys convincing win. I thought the key was whether the Texans could generate a pass rush, which did not happen. If the Texans don't put major pressure on the passer, they are done. I didn't think Schaub would play like such a dog. He's been shaky 2 out of 3 games and I'm worried. Hopefully the team will grow from this experience and learn to leave it all on the field no matter what their record is. Sometimes a giant helping of humiliation pie is a good teacher. Even so, they have to try something difference with the pass coverage.
So were not going 19-0 this year. Big ****ing deal. 18-1 isn't bad. Nothing like a 16 game winning streak.
Okay, and I just watched that Roy Williams play. I have no idea why Wilson was lined up over the center (with Kareem in press coverage against Roy). Wilson should have went over to Williams and cheated more. Once the play started, you could see Wilson trying to run over and help KJ but it was too late. Wilson should have never been lined up where he was. That's just one example.
I think this was good for the Texans. Bring them back down to earth some. I'm not sure they could play worse in all facets of the game than they did today. At least, that's the saving grace I'm clinging to. Come back next week and punish Oakland. Still 2-1 and still in 1st place.
High ankle sprain. http://www.houstontexans.com/news/a...-Cowboys/8785b064-5ea1-4445-a0fc-9d84958ffef0
I am scared to death of the Oakland game. Not because Oak is a good team and all but of the possibility of the Texans losing. If the Texans lose this entire board and fanbase will go into an epic meltdown.
REALLY, I mean obviously don't take any team lightly but after one loss to a good Dallas team on a mission and we need all our weapons to be Oakland?
Gracious and sensible Cowboys fans are always welcome, in my book. Note the key word "jackass" here. The Cowboys, like the Yankees, Red Sox, and Lakers, have a disproportionate number of obnoxious fans. It's THOSE folks I don't want to hear from. And don't assume I'm a Cowboys hater. Yes, I'm from Houston, and I tend to dislike all things Dallas, but I actually interned for the Cowboys TWICE during college. I wish the team well... just not against the Texans.
