I'm not asking for a perfect team. I'm just asking that we can at least get a stop sometime. Having the offense constantly having to put HUGE points on the board to secure a win is ridiculous. Playoff and contending teams are able to trust both their offense and defense generally. If offense sucks, then they can trust the defense to step it up, vice-versa. Basically for the Texans, anytime the offense is not putting up 400+ yards are the games that we end up losing. Our poor defensive efforts have been overshadowed by our terrific offensive production, and this game has brought that weakness to light. Texans have gotten complacent, they saw how bad the defense was in the first two games yet they failed to do anything. I see the same mistakes, that I've seen in the first two games. If the Texans want to be serious about winning, toughen up that defense and commit. Don't get complacent and just hope the offense pulls through every single night...
cowgirls fans: you're still looking at a 7-9 season, wade phillips is still a clueless dumb**** you had to bring out your A game and some Knute Rockne speeches from your players to get this win
one is less than 10 seasons old and started from scratch. the other has been here for 30+ years. you're right...there's no comparison between what these two franchises were doing in the mid-90's. Rockets win that hand down. but if you ask me which team I think is better relative to their league...i'll tell you it's the texans and i don't think it's close.
The Refs obviously don't give a ****. The play clock should have expired before the game clock too but they decided to just say "**** it".
Arian Foster with 100+ in less than 20 carries. Still a small sample size, but we now know that the first game wasn't a complete fluke. Guess I'll just go watch the Chargers-Seahawks now....
you're still a little b**** captain obvious statement about the secondary, a clueless fairweather football fan like you even could make that statement
Considering how horrendous they played, it was only an 11 point loss. Looking at the Giants, there is still strong liklihood they end up 5-1 going into the bye week. That game meant a helluva lot more to Dallas than Houston. Not a huge deal really. However, something needs to be done about Jackson, the guy is horrible
If we can be 3-1 when Cushing comes back, it's an undeniable success. If we can be 5-2 when Brown comes back, it's also an undeniable success.
I blame bob mcnair for not finding a replacement for Robinson before leting him go, and Kareem Jackson is not the replacement.
ok...i have to say, i remember saying at the time...you better be damn sure you can replace robinson before you just let him walk. i know he pissed people off...but man i'd feel a lot better if he were here right now. the only CB with any real good experience on our roster.
