Skip Bayless having a job in sports journalism represents everything that is wrong with the world today. He's just a blowhard who says things to rile people up. I would love to punchisize his face....FOR FREE.
true, but the bears do rely on quick passes and getting rid of the ball quickly. Texans pass plays typically take some time to develop. Regardless, Butler better step up
I am happy to admit I was wrong about the Texans first 2 games, I thought they would go 1-1 at best. This is a tough game for me to decide who to root for. I despise the cowboys more than anything, but obviously for the Titans sake, I want the Texans to lose.. Going into week 3, with the cowgirls 0-2, I think this is a game the Texans end up losing. I don't think Dallas is a better team, I just don't think the Texans are good enough to be 3-0. This game is similar (but more meaningful for Dallas playoffs hopes) to the Titans game in Houston on Monday night last year. I expect it to be a close game, and the cowgirls somehow win it in the 4th quarter. 30 - 24 Good luck guys, it should be a fun game to watch.
So basically, you think the Texans are going to lose simply because "they aren't good enough to be 3-0"?? That's some solid logic there.....weren't you also the same person who didn't think they were good enough to go 2-0?? I'm just sayin....
To be honest, I would be worried if he actually picked us to win. And I'm not sure how this game is more meaningful playoff-wise than that Titans game last season. I mean it's only week 3. We still have 3 winnable games heading into the bye week.
I really had hoped that Dallas was 2-0 and not 0-2. That just gives them that much fire to come out and want to win this game and go balls to walls. We definitely are not sneaking up on them at all. They have just as potent offenses as we do except in the running game. We need to somehow disrupt the passing game between Romo, Whitten, and Austin to have a good chance. I have all the confidence that Dallas D is not going to be able to stop our offense but I'm not as confident in our D to stop their passing game.
Redzone offense is key Sunday. We let the Cowboys hang around going into the half during preseason. Hopefully, OD can finally make a difference this week.
Based on a review of the Cowboy fan boards, their folks are really dispirited about the team and think they are going 0-3. As I have admitted before, the only time I cheer against the Cowboys is when they play the Texans. I am a fan from back in the Landry era but will never like Jerry Jones (rich sleezeball). Therefore, as much as I will hate to see the Cowboys lose, I will love to see Jerry Jones' face when they do. Mark it down, the Cowboys are desperate . They absolutely can't lose this game, they will be at playoff speed; however, they may be so disconbobulated that it doesn't matter. This is now the biggest game in Texan's history and likely the real turning point for the franchise. If the Texans lose, the media will say, see there, they aren't for real. If they do, they are on a serious roll to the playoffs and Dallas' season is effectively over. In some ways that seems ridiculous with so many games to play, but bad starts are hard to overcome in the NFL. Wow, who would have thought the game would set up like this?
Let's hope they're at playoff speed. Their playoff outings in recent years haven't exactly been stellar.
I just don't understand how any self-respecting Houstonian can root for Bud Adams' Titans. Luv ya blue is beyond over. I once had a Houston Titans fan (that looks gross even typed) try to put me in my place by asking, "Oh yeah, well what would you do if the Astros or Rockets left town for Vegas or something?? " Easy. They'd be my new least favorite team in the league.
I don't see that happening unless Pollard or Demeco are covering him. But they are too integral to the rest of the defense to have either focus on one player. Diles and Adibi CANNOT keep up with him, they have been pretty poor in coverage so far, particularly Adibi
