Texans 24 Dallas 20 Brown being out hurts (and pisses me off to the max, but that's another thread) - I see both teams getting to the QB and the Texans running the ball more. There should be big plays on the ground and in the air for us but between the twenties. The Texans should wear them down, but it won't be easy. And we're going to give up some big plays ourselves.Kind of a bend but don't break deal on both sides. .....defensive touchdown this week.
I think the Cowboys will win, if only because this is how they operate. It doesnt look good for us now that we are 0-2 in regards to the playoffs, so they will win this game, go into the bye on a slight upswing and choke in week 5.
So you think the Cowboys will win just because they have to win? I think the Texans take that very same mentality into this game. This team learned a hard lesson last year, missing the playoffs by one game. Seems like they finally understand that every game is the superbowl....plus a game at home against a in-state rival? I doubt the Cowboys win because they want to win this game more. The team that has a better gameplan, executes better, and plays better will win this game. As always is the case. From what i've seen this far, hard to believe the Cowboys will execute and gameplan better than the Texans.
Must win for the Cowboys, I really hope the Texans don't get over-confident and come out slow like they did last week. I feel bad for the Cowboys, how do you prepare for this game? You can try to shut down Arian Foster, who ran for 230 yards against the Colts defense who showed they actually can play last week, or you try to shut down Matt Schaub, who threw for almost 500 yards against a defense that shut down the Cowboys the previous week. I like our chances in this one, let's make the win a little less stressful this week though.
Matt Schaub is 3 Passing TD's away from being the career TD leader for the franchise with 60 passing TD's. Though Carr still is edging him out in rushing TD's 8 to 2. I say he gets the record against the Cowboys.
The Texans, on an average, are holding the #3 spot. Bleacher Report - #3 ESPN - #3(7) Fox Sports - #4(7) CBS Sports - #3(13) USAToday - #4 SBNation - #3(9) Power rankings sure are fun to look at when you're team is doing so well.
With Brown out, I can see the Cowgirls harassing Schaub all day. Our best chance is on the ground...and it's not a great chance, really. The lack of Cushing might also finally prove to be a real hole in our defense. Cowgirls have to be on a mission. If not, their season is effectively over.
Ware was wreaking havoc in the Bears backfield during the 1st half last Sunday, but the Bears made some adjustments at halftime and burned them over the top while the Cowgirls inexplicably continued to blitz. Dennison and Schaub are smart enough to do the same thing if the Girls continue to go 'all in' and blitz 7 or 8 on every play. Run the ball, set up the screens, and hit the hot routes when the Girls inevitably continue to blitz. That's how you win.
OD should be able to have a big game because of what you said. Look at the play that the Bears TE (his name escapes me) had for his td. No one within 15 yards of him IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD. Production out of Arian Foster and OD will make or break the Texans in this one. If those 2 are big parts of the offense early, the rest is going to be easy.
the Cowboys blitzed CONSTANTLY. even after the Bears adjusted and started burning them. worst coaching ever.
Skip Bayless is an idiot. Love how the girl across the table is RIPPING him about the Texans. He slipped in no way are the Texans better than the Cowboys. And she started going off on him. Saying he only said that because the Texans are about to run the table on the Girls. (live on 1st and 10...espn2)
I heard on the radio this morning that the Bears were without their starting LT Sunday vs the Cowboys.
They have to bring in a woman to debate with Bayless and he still can't win a sports argument.....pathetic. On Monday he said Houston was the 3rd best team......in the AFC South
Wade Phillips said he can't sleep, eat and he's not in a good mood these days. lawls. http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/news/story?id=5600929
This is confirmed. He was injured early and WAre was not able to take advantage. We cant afford to have our QB being hit as much as he did in Washington
