He's also on Randy Galloway's daily drive time radio show on ESPN 103.3 FM. Look what everyone in Houston needs to understand is that there is a pervasive stench of desperation surrounding the Cowboys up here. Cowsheep fans are running scared and for many, this is a reality they simply cannot deal with as their very identity is bound up in the Cowboys image. I honestly think that these folks could not handle what Houston football fans have had to live with first with the Oilers and then with the Texans.
Lets get our future DC Wade Phillips fired this week. Man if we had an awesome DC we could dominate with this offense.
I actually think Bush has really grown into the job nicely... The rush defense has been great since the early part of last season. I think the only real weakness is the secondary and that has more to do with youth and experience then talent or game planning IMHO.
Actually, yeah. Randy Galloway has been around covering Dallas sports teams for decades. His approach toward everything is hyperbole combined with sarcasm. On his radio show, he's always throwing out the hysterical fan positions. He call Jerry Jones "Boss Hog" and Wade Phillips "Uncle Wade". His Monday shows carry the theme "Over-reaction Mondays" and usually start out with the declaration "Cows (Win)(Lose), Cows Stink, Cows Stupid". Anyway, you get the idea. Mosley, on the other hand, is calm, rational and sensible and nearly always on point. He, like everyone else, has been highly critical of Jason Garrett, Jerry, Wade and the entire dysfunctional organization out at Valley Ranch. I found his article to be in good humor. Houston football fans tend to be far too emotional about the Cowboys but having grown up watching Butthead Bud and the Oilers, I certainly understand why.
I'm actually familiar with Galloway from my time in Waco, which is essentially the Dallas media market. Happy to see that Matt does well. The first time I saw him on ESPN doing analysis, it freaked me out. We had so many arguments about sports (particularly Houston/Dallas) that it's just funny for me to see him continue them publicly.
We also played a top 3 passing offense in week one, and two of the best QB's in the league over the past decade in our first two games. With a rookie and a sophomore corner. Our pass rush looks better than ever, and we are stopping the run. No need to go clamoring for a conversion to 3-4 when we can just upgrade the talent at free safety and wait for our CB's to grow.
Upgrading Wilson with a ballhawk at deep safety would make more of an impact than trying to convert Mario to a 3-4 outside LB.
if he makes sentences with his mouth like the line about chain restaurants and a loop to nowhere, i'm guessing he has a hard time talking at all.
Here's an interview cbssports.com did with Kevin Walter: http://nfl-facts-and-rumors.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/22475988/24788937 I only posted the Texans related stuff. If you want to read the entire interview please click on the link. See which one of Ochocinco's touchdown celebrations was Walter's idea.
most of those receivers (esp. in the washington game) were wide open so it really had nothing to do with the quarterback. It wasn't like McNabb made amazing throws
That would be dumb, we would have to completely rebuild the defense. The problem is only in the pass defense and that has nothing to do with the scheme. It has to do with Jackson being a rookie and them missing one of their best pass defenders in Brian Cushing
