you mean like getting some dude named Jeremy Lin for free? and giving up camby and get 3 youngsters and 2 2nd round picks? Yeah. Not too shabby Morey. I was sure Lee was just gonna leave anyway. we got bobcats pick! morey and ainge prolly discussed it when they chatted at Vegas.lololo good. were helping Boston beat Miami. I hate Miami super friends.
http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=58764.0 Celtics fans don't seem to be too fond of him, but KG saw enough game in him to take him on as an understudy.
Sean Williams practices in Houston almost every summer with John Lucas. He is a nice guy and really athletic.
I don't think handing that many 2nd round draft picks are going help the Rockets rebuild, and I have 2 ways of understanding it. Either, Morey was trying to liquify instead of getting nothing at return, or collect more assets for Howard trade so we could have minimum impact on our current roaster. At this point, I don't think Rockets have a lot of interest in Bynum. It is clear that even if Rockets can sign Howard or Bynum in long-term, to have a real short for the champion, we may need an extra 3 ~ 4 years (probably 5 ~ 6) to upgrade our supporting cast. It is very doubtful that Bynum can remain healthy for that long. And of course, the final decision will be based up on the prize. ATM I believe Rockets aren't willing to give up any rookie for Bynum.
Hollinger Retweeted this. Uh Oh.

Courtney Lee deal may be in trouble. The problem with getting Bynum in a 3-way for a facilitator is that you have to pay the difference between Howard and Bynum for the Lakers, since they can't offer much besides him, in addition to paying the price for Bynum himself. Unless you're getting Bynum at a steep discount, which I highly doubt, why not just trade directly for Howard (assuming you're not deterred by the rental)?
Rondo/Bradley/Terry Lee/Terry/Bradley Pierce/Green/Pietrus Bass/Green/Sullinger KG/Wilcox/Melo You're welcome, Celtics.
Not to mention the fact that we'd avoid upgrading a conference foe. Dwight has far more star power as well, so you might be setting LA up to be a super team even after Kobe and Nash retire. Kevin Loves and Chris Pauls will be more drawn to Dwight than Baby Bynum.
He looks a lot like KG shooting and the way he uses his length. He's like the homeless version of KG. Ultimately he is another one of those very talented guys that never puts it together.
The initial report was shoddy and jumped the gun, i think. Like many posters have said, cap wise it doesn't work. now all the 'insiders' are withdrawing their statements and saying the trade might be 'in trouble'. rofl
well he's a PF, but based on his game, he is a better Center than he is a PF. he seems to be defensive-minded and a shot-first big man. he sounds nice coming off the bench. and for those of you complaining, who are the PF's on our roster? PPat? Harrelson? and now JaJuan? that would be 3 PF's. there's nothing wrong with 3.
