If he truly gets the bulk of carries, 15-20, he should cruise past 46.5.

I wish the interviewers would get into more about the players and specifically the expectations around the rookies.

Only the folks that think this team will be decent
Though alot more exciting than last year. Have actual talent at some of the skill positions

We will see. I’m not expecting them to be world beaters, but I think they aren’t nearly as outgunned as they were last year

I still see media clips and reports that Texans will be the absolute worst NFL team this season. I agree with you, they won’t be world beaters but I definitely think the Texans will surprise in a good way

Looking forward to see how Pierce performs. Colts still going to win, but maybe it won't as embarrassing as last year.

This is a different Texans team than the last two years, something the pundits and some of us seem to forget.

First off, Mills has secured QB1 and his goto WR1 (Cooks) back and Collins has established himself as #2 who could be a redzone regular. Add in a better OL and a rookie RB that looks like he could be special and we're so much better on offense than last year. Yes we have question marks--TE, slot, center/maybe one guard, but I can't see us being as bad as last year.

Second, our defense has added some REAL talent--Stingley, Pitre and Nelson will be difference makers in the backfield. Our DL added Jerry Hughes who looked rejuvenated in his brief preseason work, Mario Addison who can get after qbs as well and some beef/youth in the middle. Lopez and Collins can be a nice duo in the middle. LBs are pretty much the same with Harris injured, but they were solid last year and we added some youth as depth. The defense looked good in PS, and if we can get after the qb and stop the run we could make some noise.

Finally, I wasn't sure about Lovie, but dude has absolutely grown on me and I'm cheering for him. Also, Spec Teams should be solid all the way around. Let's get some on Sunday!!

Screw the media. They always dog our team. I don't believe for a second we will be the worst team in the NFL. There are far worse quarterbacks, and I think Pierce is gonna be better than a lot of running backs. Not only that, but our defense should be better this year.

Stop it...you're making me get excited about the Texans defense...especially next year when we add Anderson.

If they’re in a position to add Anderson they probably draft a qb
