He’s had some bad ones, mainly weak side boundary throws.

 

They went conservative there, but if you told me before the game that they could go into the 3rd with the lead and the ball, I'd take it every time.

 

Terrible way to end the half.

Mills throws good in traffic...but TERRIBLE when no one is around the receiver.

Have no idea on why they are pitch counting their best running back.

Good half overall - in the lead, but with a lot of room to get better.....Mills has been pretty good, but can get a lot better, Pierce needs the ball more to wear down their defense, and we need to get the ball to the backs in the flats when they stack the middle.

Defense has been very good.....outside of a little too much zone for my liking......still all in all a very nice half.

I would agree, maybe he gets too antsy seeing free money when receivers are open.

I have no answer for why they aren’t feeding Pierce.

 

Based on the box scores Mills is playing much better than the other 2nd year qbs. Jones, TLaw, Lance and Fields showing nothing in the 1st half.

 

Mills hasn't been perfect but if I told you the Texans would be up 10-3 at halftime you'd certainly take that.
