Uh, unless I am totally off my rocker, loose ball recoveries are all completely and totally reviewable regardless of the call on the field.

All BoB's TO did was give the booth more time.

eta: I am indeed off my rocker, loose ball recoveries in the field of play are judgement calls that are not reviewable. Makes sense when you think about it.

eta2: or am I looking at old info? I've seen 2 different conflicting things in my cursory search. Somebody educate us and find the actual NFL rule that's applicable.

The impact of Will Fuller’s return to the #Texans: Deshaun Watson: 4-4 with 2 TD passing 30+ yards downfield, the most such attempts without an incompletion by any player since 2006.

And once the Texans run a play, they can't review.

It even makes less sense if they ended the game they did. They could have just run the ball one more time and then throw it away on 4th down.

They do. But there is absolutely nothing certain about challenges. Theres only one way for there to be a 0 percent chance of that being overturneds in that situation and that’s taking a delay of game or running a play.

There are always reasons to complain about BoB (the playcall that led to Watson's fumble is a good conversation piece), but you might be right about the TO. Need rulebook verification.

But they did, thanks to a TO taken by BoB. Honestly not trying to be a dick but even Aikman and freaking Joe Buck were like wtf.

They were reviewing a fumble which they called

Recoveries in the middle of bodies are judgement calls

You've never seen a recoveryy like that reviewed

Recoveries are not judgment calls and are reviewed all the time. What in gods name are you taking about?

Great win!! Fuller is the key to us beating NE, winning this division, and being legitimate contenders in the playoffs. Man do I hope he can stay healthy until our season is over.

The NFL just said they reviewed it. Whether they overturn it is a different question, but it is absolutely reviewable. You are straight wrong.

Since Watson recovered the fumble......everything is moot.

What did they say? Did they say they reviewed the fumble or recovery? They called a fumble and made a judgement on possession already watching two guys wrestle for the ball

Have you ever seen them review some wrestling they were standing over?

    See post 458 and stfu
