The point is that anything can happen in a long season. The longer you can stretch that season, the better chances that you can put things together and potentially make some noise. The Texans have had to deal with no Foster, a patchwork O line, and a defense that hasn't gelled properly yet....if they can fix those things as the season goes on they'll be a much better team.
I completely agree, tomorrow is an absolute must win. If they can't beat the Colts, then the hopes of winning the division are realistically over and we can all jump on the tank bandwagon at that point.
If they beat teams worse than them and lose to teams better than them; that's the 2014 Texans with the Ravens and Giants games as the exceptions. So far, this has been the case. They are worse than two 4-0 teams and another team with a very good defense and a brutal schedule.
Interesting about Luck. I saw a scroll on ESPN last night while watching the Astros that said the colts are denying reports that it's a separated shoulder. Usually, where there's smoke there's fire. I wonder if that applies here....

Our pass blocking has been decent. Our run blocking has been abysmal. Maybe you should watch some game tape.
Pass blocking hasn't been all that good, we've just used a QB that gets the ball out really quickly so it looks like they are doing a better job than they have been. If we stuck with Hoyer or had a QB that holds on to the ball too long like Keenum or Teddy Bridgewater, then there would be a ton more sacks and you'd conclude that the pass blocking was poor.
Then how can you blame our QB issues on a poor offensive line? What's the point of having a QB get the ball out quickly if he misfires? If Mallett was getting pressured, then blame the OLine...When Mallett is getting the ball off before pressure arrives, yet he's misfiring, you blame it on the QB. It's really as simple as that. BTW, there have been plenty of times where Mallett hasnt gotten rid of the ball quickly...and rather, checked down to his RB. He's had protection plenty of times. The pass blocking has graded out positively this year.
SMH, you do realize that he's having to get the ball out because he's still getting pressured right? They would be sacks if he was taking any more time back there. Yes I realize that pressure doesn't come on every single snap, but that's the same for QB's like Luck who have sucked it up and people have largely blamed the O line. There are very few snaps that the QB can take a long time without getting hit and that has an effect on the QB.....now was I talking about Luck or was I talking about Mallett just then?

I made excuses for Mallett after week 2. That was silly of me because he has been hot garbage and does not look like even a middle of the pack starter atm.
So you're saying he's getting rid of the ball quickly because he's being pressured? Why dont you check the numbers to see how many times, out of all his pass attempts, he's been hurried, knocked down, or sacked. The majority of his throws have come without pressure. And just so you know...Colts QBs have been hit 68 times. Texans have been hit 30 times. There is no comparison between our pass blocking and the Colts pass blocking.
