Fitz is playing to the best of his ability. Why the dog pile on him for our loss?

Why you mad that an offensive player doesn't play defense... Lol...

And do you actually think a receiver is use to diving for loose balls that their quarterback coughed up. He looked like he didn't know how... Can't put that on Nuk though.

Yeah, wtf? Don't get me wrong, I like Fitz, but damn. He played well, doesn't deserve blame but Schaub def. got treated worse by fan base.

Just got home and am depressed as ever. Did anyone else think DeAndre totally pussed out on that fumble recovery? Or did I just miss see that because it looked like he TOTALLY could have gotten that ball if he would have ran/diven for it. And that play shouldn't have ruled a fumble. And fat Randy, SHIEEEEEEEEEET.

    Love for Mercilus?

Nah. Former first round pick. Good play is to be expected. Not good one week, missing the next three(or longer).

    Same for Reed.

For some, it fits a narrative that they've been pushing for a while, for others, it's just really easy to blame the QB and is almost a knee-jerk reaction at this point.

I hate to say it, but outside of the fumble Fitz had a great game. He seems to do just enough to stop himself from being benched

Bottom line, Colts are too good of a team to go down like 24 pts like that. Good news is the texans look like a good team in glimpses. But they have a ways to go.

Good point, how many people would have thought the Texans would only lose by 6 and have 2 chances to take the lead at the end of the game in a game where they gave up 24 first quarter points. The defense deserves most of the blame in this one, they showed up a quarter late to the game.

If Fitzpatrick doesn't fumble the ball then it's not a fumble either.

Fitz never has been anything other than a middling QB, at least not with any consistency. No need to defend him, he's exactly what we thought he was. What's really confusing is what exactly the plan was the Texans had coming into this season at QB when they brought him in. I wonder what BOB was expecting of this team.

And Swearinger is ****ing useless. All that **** talking but no play to back it up. But if you need a guy to come flying into a play and make no impact on it whatsoever, he's your man.

Coach Bob looked a little over his head throughout this game. He's blessed to have best defensive player and possibly best football player period on his team in Watt. This slow starts are absolutely inexcusable and it has a lot to do with coaching.
