Too late this game, but it only took Collins 3 quarters of the first game to find some rhythm, looks like the Colts might not be a total joke.
Good... we need them to beat some of the other contending AFC teams this year. Think about how many questionable teams there are right now in the AFC: Indianapolis Tennessee Jacksonville Oakland Denver Miami Cincy Cleveland Buffalo The only safe bets are New England, Baltimore, NYJ and Pittsburgh (although they look crappy today). KC should be alright, but anybody else notice the dud they showcased today in their home opener? (down 40-7 to Buffalo). Houston and Cleveland are either going to be really good or really dissapointing.
I'm thinking KC is in for a pretty bad season, their schedule isn't the easiest. Although I did have a few bucks on them to win their home opener, by far the most disappointing game for me today.
can anyone explain to MD why that wasn't a td by collie. He got his left foot down and his right toe down in bounds before his right heel came down out of bounds. What's the diff between that and dragging your toe on a sideline catch?
the foot came down in one motion. He wasn't trying to "toe tap". Also, usually a toe being down would be a toe dragging, or even going to the ground with your toe being the only thing that touches down. If the toe is the first part of the foot but the heel comes down in the same action, it's part of the foot that counts in the receiving action
When you beat an NFL team (manning or not) 34-7 and your stud QB only throws for 220 1td/2int along with the NFL rushing champ sitting out, you have to feel pretty good.
I knew one way or another, Tate would get some good yards and a TD, yes. This is evident by my decision to start him.
