My wife just gave me my birthday present: 2 50 yard line tickets (mid deck) to the game Sunday Take that b****es!!
So, Im glad the texans play against the Colts in the week 1, because now with the change of the refs position, and being the week 1, the colts might have penalties or cant do a lot of no-huddle plays like they used too. and that could be good for the texans.
Oh, I get the discount. I only pay $249. The $319 is for new users I believe. I'm curious as to how the To-Go package is going to work.
In the same interview I heard that in, he claimed his nicknames to be D-Money or DJ........I prefer The Rev
I say the Texans win based on the streak that the losing Super Bowl opponent loses the first game of the season the following year
i think its going to be a high scoring game and texans win. does anybody know a website where you can watch the game later on because it looks like i am not going to be able to see the game.
Sunday it is either going to be "Bob, yes this is the most important win in franchise history, I couldn't be prouder of the way we played..... OR "Well, Bob, it is disappointing, this is not the way we wanted to open the season. We just have to get back to work, correct some mistakes and get ready...... Blah, blah, blah, blah Oh please, let it be door number one.
I'm really amp'd for this game. I think this is the best shot we have at beating a weak Colts team with a Scrub offensive line.
OOOOOOh! Some fuel for the Texans-Colts bonfire from Bob Kravitz in the Indianapolis Star: History tells a Colts fan not to worry. So why, as a longtime Colts observer, am I worried about the offensive line? Because center Jeff Saturday is just coming off arthroscopic knee surgery. He is likely to play; the question is whether he'll be limited and, if so, how much? Because left tackle Charlie Johnson is a giant maybe for Sunday with an injured foot. Johnson has a history of fighting through injuries, but if he can't go, rookie free agent Jeff Linkenbach will get to start his first pro game against Houston defensive end Mario Williams. Because the group that is expected to start in Houston -- Johnson, left guard Jamey Richard, Saturday, right guard Kyle DeVan and right tackle Ryan Diem -- didn't play a snap together as a unit this preseason. Because with Tony Ugoh gone -- Ugoh as in "bust-oh'' -- the Colts are very inexperienced with four of their 10 offensive linemen having never played in an NFL game. Because the Colts have a new offensive line coach, Pete Metzelaars, although he has been here for several years, learning under the recently retired Howard Mudd. "I would say, if we had a bunch of one- or two-year guys working in there, I'd say be concerned," Johnson said. "But I wouldn't be concerned now. It might take a little bit of time, but I think it will come together pretty quickly." If Johnson can't go, and Linkenbach is thrust into the fire against Williams, how secure will that make Manning feel? The good news is, the Colts aren't facing one of the better pass-rushing teams in the league. The Texans were 25th in sacks and Williams, their best rusher, was 16th in the NFL with nine sacks. Houston also will play without AFC Defensive Rookie of the Year Brian Cushing, who should have had his award stripped for testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs and will miss the game while on suspension. Wow, if they aren't careful, they may actually hurt our feelings...
