McClain_on_NFL DE Connor Barwin is out for the year with a fractured right ankle. He was injured when teammate Antonio Smith crashed into him.
I guess you missed his point entirely: Schaub is a very good passer. If his accuracy is the Texans' weakest link, they will have a great season. Losing Barwin is a major bummer.
I'm just scared of a let down. I'm afraid the team starts thinking they are headed to the super bowl and don't show up @ Washington. COME ON GUYS. This is just one game.

ring ring Hello? Oh hey Aron, it's Rick Smith, listen we've reconsidered your offer and we've decided to meet your price, so if you could just come on in to our Reliant offices Monday morning, we'd like to get the paperwork done and get you a uniform. Uh yeah, uh you know, the price has gone up a little.
They should be watching tonight's game very closely.. if only because it will feature their next two opponents. Washington is largely unknown. Some people think they will be good, but I don't see it. I actually think they're going to be pretty awful, but will get better as the year goes on. The Cowboys are expected to be very good, but they had an awful pre-season. They are likely a better team than that, but the Texans have a good idea what they're up against in week 3. I don't see many letdowns this year... mainly because I expect more consistency from both lines. You can have out of sync passing games and out of sync coverage games... but if your lines hold steady, you can be very consistent just by running the ball and creating pressure. Have to keep it up...
It sucks that Connor Barwin is out, but I got REALLY nervous a little bit later when Antonio Smith went down and kind of limped to the sideline. Fortunately he seemed to be okay and stayed in the game (he had a good game today as well as Amobe). Had we lost both of those guys in week one, I'm think Schobel will get whatever money he wants to come play. He might still.
You have never been on the sidelines of a professional football game. That stuff goes on EVERY PLAY from both sides. My fault bud. I thought you were the one sarcastically saying Pollard was pure class.
Just got back from the game. Reliant was electric! Seriously one of the best atmospheres I've ever experienced at a sporting event. Thanks again to Kerfeld for hooking me up with some amazing tickets. It was so freaking loud in there when the Colts had the ball, I have no idea how they were ever able to get a play off. Awesome!
