If that is this team's biggest problem this year, they will be scary good...

Do you guys think it's appropriate to call this season:

The Houston Texans. STFU Tour '10.

Not just the underthrows, Schaub just looked off today. But check Matt's line from week 1 last year:

18/33 for 166 and an INT. He really bounced back in week 2, lets see if he can do it again against the Skins.

I think he's earned the benefit of the doubt after his entire season last year (not just week 2) that he'll be fine.

Not when you have WR's like Jacoby and Johnson that blow past the defense on a regular basis.

Word is that Barwin has a dislocated ankle...i thought it looked like a knee injury.

How about some love for Okoye? He was getting a lot of pressure on Manning. For how much we hate on the guy, I thought he played pretty damn well.

Which is why ragging him for his poor play today doesn't make a lot of sense.(not directed at you, just in general)

Oh and for the record, Andre Johnson week 1 last year vs this year:

    4 catches 35 yards vs 3 catches 33 yards.

I gotta say...there were sooo many little things that kept happening during that game that went the Texans' way that wouldn't have in years past. Did you guys see those 2 ball spots that were BARELY 1st downs? Things like that are what give me a great feeling about not only this game but the season moving forward.

It's funny you say that because the TV guys were talking about his knee as well. But, when they first showed him sitting on the field, you could clearly see his foot turned 90 degrees sideways.

Jacoby dropped an easy touchdown pass and at least one easy first down pass.

while underthrown, andre should have caught the deep ball he let hit him in the chest.

was schaub perfect today? no, but he was far from bad. he really only made on bad decision.

That was some of the most fun I've had watching and listening to a NFL game in years. It was great to see them not give in to the emotion when the Mannings were making a run to get back into the game. It was better to see what can be when they're a truly balanced offense. Arian Foster is going to have special season. The stats won't say so, but the defense did a very good job pressuring Manning and (other than the long one at the end) keeping the damage to a minimum.

WELL DONE, TEXANS! ON TO WASHINGTON, DC!

even if he had caught that duck of a ball, he wouldn't have been able to come down in bounds, as his 2nd foot didn't hit in-bounds.

You can easily blame the pressure that Schaub was under as the reason why the ball was underthrown... it wasn't even that long of a throw. (Just like the ball Manning threw that Quinn had a free shot at).

Back from the game, elated with the win. My 8-mo old son's first game, too. Good luck charm!

Loved the way the defense played, sorry to see Barwin go down. Ecstatic with the way the O-line opened holes for Foster to blast through. Can't do that every game, but if we have a real ground attack for the first time in 5 years, I'm excited for our prospects.

Hoping that Schobel is in uniform next week.

No, I agree, I just don't think AJ catching that ball was completely on one or the other. It did hit him in the chest, but I don't think he would have come down in bounds anyway, so just pointing out it's kind of a moot point.

So how about that one player everyone likes to hate on?

Amobi Okoye was repeatedly in the backfield causing havoc today.

What a great overall game for the Texans. Both Lines were fantastic.

EDIT: Damn it....I was beat by a few min.

Someone else basically posted the dame thing I did. lol.
