Is the run making the play action more effective
    or
Are the Colts missing Freeny . . . ALOT?

I didn't see Smith on the field after the second personal foul. I'm hoping the coaches aren't "punishing" him

It's a little of both, but mostly the latter. Freeney, imo, is the most underrated NFL player of our generation. It gets lost on the Colts because everything goes back to Manning, but he is absolutely a gamechanger and a certain Hall of Famer in my book.

    Him and BOB SANDERS

Missing both of them . .
    Gamechanger on the line
    Gamechanger in the Defensive backfield
Colts defense is looking pederstrian . . . not to take anything from the Texans

Thanks... tho ugh. Seems in past ground could not cause a fumble and from a replay it looked like a borderline play that natch went for IND and against HOU. Hopefully the team doesn't lose by four or less...

Brown might have been better letting that on hit the ground

Nice to have our players getting their knob's slobbed by the announcers for once. Especially during a Manning game.

That call was simply atrocious. You need one yard - and if nothing else, at least make the Colts use a timeout if you don't pick it up and they get the ball back - and you decide the best course of action is to throw a fade? When you've been jamming it down their throat all day?!? Absurd.

Yea the ground can't cause a fumble unless its an endzone/touchdown play where the rules change, they say if the receiver catches the ball and lands on the ground in the endzone in ONE MOTION and loses the ball they say its incomplete. I remember this specifically week 1 in that Raiders/Chargers game when Louis Murphy made a nice grab landed in the endzone, rolled a little and the ball came out and they ruled it incomplete

Personally i think thats BS, he did enough to constitute that as a TD pass. Lets just hope that extra 4 points doesnt work against us at the end of this game

QFT - why give the Colts a minute to try and get points?!? Stupid challenge, and stupid play call. I hate that option route!

If that call doesn't show the absurdness of the NFL, I don't know what does. That "runback" was clear as day blown dead, and Wayne went out and leveled the guy... not a single flag. Meanwhile, if you as much as touch Manning, personal foul.
