I want #2 a reality.Rather not have to watch that many more Texans losses for #1 to happen.

I know the automatic blame is on schaub since he is the quarterback, but how much of it is the coach and the plays being called? Texans started out the game ultra aggressive and when the second half came, they played to protect the lead and not to score. It's a toss up if you ask me. If you're going to blame schaub, then you definitely should put that blame on the coaching staff as well.

This team sucks. I'm glad I have NFL Redzone so I can watch real football. If I loved the Texans as much as I love the Rockets then I would be miserable.

The team needs a new coach. The team gets too conserative at times (i.e. every game) and the effort isn't always there. Those are both directly related to coaching. Call quality plays (isn't that supposed to be our coaches specialty) and have your guys ready to play a full 60 minutes.

OK, I understand that you are massively PISSED right now but know this: The Colts are 11-0 for a reason. The Texans just got beat by a better, more experienced team. It happens. The Colts took their (Texans) best shot and did not panic nor fold. That's the mark of a championship team. The Texans are good, much better than they were 2 or so years ago but they aren't at the Colts' level just yet. But they are headed in the right direction and the first ones to admit this would be the Colts.

I dont think you have to get rid of shaub. we need a new coach with a new mindset and next offseason continue to improve the defense through the draft and free agency. on offense our most glaring needs are interior o-line and a smash mouth running back. let dunta walk, use that money on casey hampton and draft a corner in the first round. then in the 2 nd and 3rg go offensive gaurd and running back.

I'm getting tired of this...it's the same thing every year...

It's hard to turn the corner when you're moving in circles...

After they have a lead they immediately go into "we're scared to lose because we probably will" mode....

this is a mirror image of their mental psyche and makeup, which is partly the coach's responsibility to shape and mold

This entire mindset is the reason that Kubiak is still on the sidelines and why no one takes the Texans seriously in the NFL.

Well, but last week, the Texans lost to a worse, AWFUL team, Tennessee. So explain that one.

71,000 fans say, Don't worry Mr Mcnair, we'll continue to show up and support this steaming pile of crap you call a football team."

    No incentive for change.

Mr. Mcnair, I get it, you're a nice guy but we really want a real football team.

Please make the necessary changes to make that happen.

I agree completely. Kubiak has been coaching scared all season. The guy can't even watch a field goal attempt by his kicker. McNair would probably consider firing him now, but neither of his assistants have enough experience to take over. That might be one reason why Kubiak put them there in the first place.

If he wants to be pissed off, he should first look in the mirror because it's HIS fault for all those wasted years with Capers & Casserly.

Who's to say letting up on the accelerator the 2nd half didnt affect the team's approach? Maybe it brought on too much a comfort level within the team.

But then last year Sage tried TOO aggressively to make plays. Who the heck knows. The Colts are just better.

But to get to the playoffs you have to beat some better teams.
