Quick release by Sage under pressure. Not sure Schaub makes that play.

look. QB is the only position on a team whose individual stats mean less than how they lead the team.

i could care less how could schaub played last week. what is their record with schaub this season? its time to play rosenfels. him finding aj better than schaub is just a plus.

i'm referring to the way Schaub was looking on the sidelines, with his hands on his shoulder pads AND his #8 jersey.

Understood and agreed. My point is that I don't know that Sage would look any better than Schaub facing Pitt (esp. going down by a lot early) or Tenn. So it's not a fair comparison.

That was a TERRIBLE decision to run the ball on 2nd and 3.

Looks like the Texans are playing not to lose... not to win.

This game feels very brisk to me. I guess when things are clicking time flies by instead of you hoping the game would end already.

 2nd and 3 would seem like the ideal time to run the ball.

Not a lot of penalties helps.

Why don't they have two or three plays called in that time out?

Short of a total collapse in the 2nd half, the starting QB for next week is a no-brainer.

Actually, I'm always looking for the pass on 2nd and short. Worst-case scenario, its incomplete and you still have a makeable 3rd and short (where you can run there).

The fact that 40 seconds came off the clock was my main beef... but they're clearly trying to leave zero time on the clock before halftime (which may only get them 3 points, but guarantees Indy gets zero).

I think in this game, 3 points is not enough... they have to get a TD here.

    If they score, I'm happy.

But again, not too impressed with the time out management here.
