Marino, Boomer, and Cowher basically saying that this is what separates a backup from a starting QB, and a losing from a winning franchise. Shannon Sharpe mumbles something incoherent as usual.
Cowher understands what to do..instead of giving Sage a chance to throw and to make a mistake, give the ball to those who are used to carrying it...give it to Slaton. Cowher for Kubiak...McNair get it done.
We deserve to get blasted from every media outlet in the planet after this. Texans SHOULD be getting called out from everybody from Terry Bradshaw to my mom
I mean, im not shocked to be honest. I was thinking with 5 minutes left about how the Texans could lose this one, and they didn't disappoint. Houston sports fans should be prepared for anything. It just sucks that the homecoming had to be this game. some people really needed a distraction, and while this certainly did create a diversion, its not what I had in mind. It was shameful football, and the suffering Texan fans of the gulf coast deserve much, much better.
Interesting hearing Cowher criticizing Texan coaching on the post game show...saying you need to have the ball in the hands of running backs who are used to carrying the ball. I don't know...when he tried to go Sam McGuffie and jump over a defender, I think that's on Sage.
Exactly somebody needs to keep an eye on Sage's bank account if he buys an expensive automobile next week the man just got paid.
Final 3 possessions: 1) Sage dives into a crowd of Colts defenders, fumbles in mid-air, the Colts recover and run it in for a TD. 2) Sage runs, gets hit from behind, fumbles. Gives it to Indy, where they proceed to take the lead. 3) Sage runs, throws it to an Indy defender, game. That is such a horrible choke job that words can not describe it.
I really want to jump ship, but it's so hard for me to abandon the city of Houston. It's the hometown team, and I want them to do well... but no human being should have to go through the misery these guys put us through, year after year after year.
Wait...there are legit reasons for this loss. You guys are overreacting. We need to give them more time. (i keed) huge difference for me is that if this were the oilers, i'd be shot for the week....i just don't have the emotional investment yet with this team. i think of them much more as an entertainment option than i do the rox or 'stros.
I'd love to jump ship, but it's not like you can just 'pick up' another team. I mean, the Oilers leaving and the Texans coming in was a different situation. But I couldn't jump on another random team. This is my team. But we'll see how I feel come next Saturday before I decide how I'll handle them and the NFL the next few weeks
I'm never gonna abandon my home teams. I'm still young so I've got years of misery left. I've supported some stinkers in the past, and I still will. GO TEXANS! Also, the reason for this loss...NO DAMN BATTLE RED UNIFORMS. Seriously. Just wear those magic unis all season and we'll make the playoffs.
Do you think Artest should start at the 4 and have Battier at the 3? That would be one hell of a defensive duo... Scola could be the 6th man of the year. Myabe have a line up of Mcgrady Artest Battier Scola Yao That is pure domination!!!
at this point, mrdave could troll this thread and i wouldn't even care. hell, the team deserves it...or maybe just sage.
