Yep, I'm quite surprised. They fans are as classy as their team.

"I'm a guy who never has injuries," Johnson said. "To have Indianapolis coming in next week, that's a game you don't want to miss. I'm going to take it one day at a time and do what I need to do to get myself ready."

If we could just clone D-Rob, we'd have a chance. Fantasies aside, he MIGHT be able to contain MH or RW, but obviously not both.

Unfortunately, Faggins will have to guard one of them. I'm cringing at the thought.

The thought of that is horrible. That's a disaster waiting to happen. I say we put Dunta on Wayne and double up on Harrison.

Yep AJ is a champion no doubt. Like some ESPN pundits have said he is one of the greatest receivers no one has heard about. Believe it or not I think Ditka said that! He ought to know.

Anyway, I think that game in Carolina REALLY boosted our team confidence. You see these guys fighting, battling for each other. Hustling and making no excuses. No hung heads when things are not going their way. No matter what happens on Sunday if we limit our mistakes and play all out for 60 minutes anything can happen! I like our chances if Schaub has the ball last. All these factors plus, our youth+skill+confidence+key veteran leadership+an outstanding coaching staff=teams will think twice before wishing to play the Texans this year.

It may be crazy but, I like our chances ... maybe I drinking the koolaid early but, if the Titans who have cumulatively less talent, skill than we do can put the Colts on the fringe of dire straits why can't we push them over the brink?

How about this scenario ... Schaub earns his stripes and leads a game winning drive in the closing minute and Manning gets sacked by our overrated DL Super Mario! He forces a fumble with seconds on the clock and Okoye runs it in for a TD and Reliant is in sheer delirium! Texans WIN, Texans WIN ... Rock N Roll!!!

    Texans 35, Colts 24.

Hey, the team believes things are different let's give them some more momentum. We win this one, we may not lose til maybe the SD game?

Didn't he miss a whole bunch of games a couple years ago due to a strained calf muscle or something?

I would love to put up a winning score for the Texans, but I don't see how they can win without AJ. Even with AJ, the Colts are still the defending SuperBowl Champs... gotta give respect.

If I knew that Fletcher was going to start opposite Dunta, then I would be confident we can win. But if it is Faggins...then either Wayne or Harrison are going to torch us all game long. Plus, they have a good pass catching TE, and I don't have a lot of confidence in our LBs to cover the good TEs. With or without Andre:

    Colts - 35
    Texans - 27

Although I truly think the Texans have turned the corner, I don't see them winning against the Colts this weekend without Andre Johnson. (There's no shame in losing to the defending Super Bowl champions.) I predict a competitive game, though, with the Colts breaking the game open in the 4th quarter.

I know that the Colts' offense is still a lot better than the Texans' offense.

Is it crazy to think that the Texans' defense might be better than the Colts' defense? I think it might be.

I'm not only basing my opinions on the first two games, but also the way they finished last year, the preseason, what we've seen from individual players. Call me nuts, but I think the Texans have a top 10 defense now. With natural development and addition of a good safety or another good corner, the Texans defense might be among the top 5 (the other 4 being Chicago, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and San Diego) next year.

Amobi Okoye's 2 sacks last week are going to payoff big this week! After week one Mario basically saw doubleteams the whole game. With a rookie tackle starting opposite of Mario the colts now know that they cant afford to double Big W anymore. I just really hope they get to Manning early in the game (hopefully on the first drive) to let him hear the footsteps all game. I think you are going to see 3-4 sacks and a pick out of the Texan's D if they can get to #18. I really hope that Faggins shows up this week. BTW did anyone get pissed at Tasker's annunciation of his name during the game?

Yeah, I did. You'd think these announcers would glance at the rosters before the game in order to clarify pronunciations of stuff like that that could be embarassing...or at least at the starters. I'm sure it is not something new to Petey.

could be a bluff though, it won't be up there with Willis Reed coming out the tunnel, but it would be a nice surprise

the texans beat the colts last season by running the ball. funny to say this about Indy, but if there's an opponent they probably get by without AJ, this would be it.

the titans are competitive against indy because they run the ball. you got to ruff em up. hopefully williams or amobi or maddox or ryans can get to peyton.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Colts will be up for this one and win. I picked Carolina last week, so what do I know?
