pshaw. A widely held opinion, maybe. How widely? From whom have you heard this opinion. Of course it's my opinion, but I don't count.
Probably already posted, didn't feel like looking. Week 2 in NFL pics. They seem to be making fun of Carr alot. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=gallo/070917&sportCat=nfl Back on topic: Texans win and the bandwagoner's will come like crazy. Texans- 37 Colts- 21
"Jake, do you want me to take the white gloves off and go in there for you? I totally will, I would just want a few minutes notice to moisturize first." "What is David wearing on his hands? I've lost total control of this team. I should just resign before they fire me." -------- that's just wrong...lol.
"I would totally get in there and knock some heads around if I didn't have these white gloves on. Plus, I wouldn't want to muss my hair." ESPN going crazy!
i've never seen such groomed hair on a football player in the midst of an actual football game. it's impressive.
Just go to their official forum Check out the "overrated" thread. Notice the trend of defensive players being listed. It makes me happy that Colts' fans think their defense is as over rated as I do. Then check out the "who saw this coming" thread. If your lazy, here's some quotes. Mind you, I'm copying and pasting. Any misspelled words are on them, not me. "Should be a tough fought game." "That will be the test" "What a difference a Quaterback can make hunh?" "Texans looked great today, after the first quarter it was no contest." "right now texans are kinda scary...." "The AFC south is no longer just dominated by the Colts. Its now looking to be like the toughest division in the league!" "this is a marquee matchup." "It'd be really something if two teams from the AFC South made the playoffs this year--and I'm not referring to the Jags." In response to a Texans fan on the board concerned of the Jags. "the Texans own the Jags." "don't be afraid of jags... last yr you beat the crap outta them twice" back to general quotes "This has been coming for years, and now it is here. We all knew it as coming, and here it sits" "And now, here Houston. Freaky looking bunch right now. The are putting up points, playing defense, and getting it done on the field." "The division may very well come down to these two teams" "I get tired of Titans and Jags idiots. Atleast most of the Texan fans are humble and win with class." "I had the Texans pegged as a wild card team before the season began." "I'm really happy for the Texans and their fans. Everyone deserves to have hope. It sucks being a sorry team..just ask us we should know..we were the laughing stock of the league for years." "I can't help but be kinda nervous as the colts head into this game. just don't know what to expect!" And my favorite quote of the whole thread... "Nope, didn't think A. Green still had legs. Also, I didn't think they were ready to play as big as they have been. Oh well, this is one reason I stopped playing NFL fantasy football." Honestly, I could keep going and going and going. And go see for yourself. I didn't omit negative comments about the Texans from their fans. They are concerned, generally happy for us, and most importantly... taking us seriously. GO TEXANS!!!!
Wow, very classy and respectful fans from Indy, kinda blindsighted me. As for the game, we lose a close one, pushing our team to get better and not to be overconfident. If we're gonna lose a game, let it be early so the Texans can learn their lesson now, stay humble and work hard.
I think we mix in the blitz a bit and our defense roughs up Manning. Still it should be close Texans 23 Colts 17 even without AJ
Oh man... sorry for the double post, trolling this site... Does this sound familiar? Sound Familiar? What Colts don't know is they shouldn't be looking at the field being used in a football sense... but as a blackmail scheme to extort money to upgrade the stadium. I think I'm going to sign up and post over there.
From the shoddy journalism department: link Texans 20, Chiefs 3, buddy. When your entire blurb is focused around one central point (the 30 points thing), you better check your facts first, lest you look like a total moron. Geez. Shoddy journalism, the sequel: link "Yeah, I have a response.... Uh, WHAT?"
no, not at all, actually that is a helluva gameplan but dude, don't forget about Owen Daniels. he doesn't drop a pass, his routes are perfect, and he and Schaub are developing a scary chemistry. he may get close to a 100 catches this year. thats just awesome!
Personally I don't think the Colts are very good vs the pass either. With a sound game plan, you can keep Manning on the sidelines. If the Texans and Colts play like they did this past Sunday, the Texans should win this game. I don't think the Colts will be as BAD as they were against the Titans. But I do think the Texans will show up to play. It should be one heck of a game. From looking at the schedule it's got to be the best game on CBS next weekend. Although I do wish I was able to watch the San Fran/Pitts game. That should be a good one to watch as well. Too bad Fox has decided to show the American Latino Awards instead... sigh. Who watches that crap anyhow. Someone start a poll... great football game? award ceremony?
Those gloves are so freakin frustrating!! WTH is he thinking? And I really dont see how he would want to put a helmet on after spending so much time on that hair. What a pu$$.
