Maybe it had something to do with those 3 TDs he was responsible for. Then again, what do I know?

Carr looked comfortable because he had a 14 point lead to start the game and because Ron Dayne was dominating the Colts' D.

I wasn't talking about the Patriots game per se. Every week the Texans lose, even in games where Carr does have an acceptable game stat wise, it all boils down to Carr. "Carr didn't do this, Carr didn't do that, when are we going to replace him?" Now, when we have one of the biggest wins in franchise history, it's still "Carr didn't do anything to win the game, it was all Ron Dayne." Sorry folks, but Carr isn't going to throw for 350 yards and 4 TDs every week. And you know what? No other QB would in this system. Kubiak's offense is control the ball through running plays and short passes. That dead pass to AJ at the line of scrimmage isn't just drawn up by Carr on the field. That's how the play is designed to go. If Carr doesn't follow the play design and doesn't have a darn good reason for it, he will soon be "benched QB David Carr". I'm sure he wouldn't like that, so he does what he's supposed to do: run the offense as best he can.

All I'm saying is that Carr-bashers always point to him when things go wrong, and now are seemingly looking everywhere else but at him for a reason why we won. Playing the blame game is fine but give credit where credit's due.

Are you guys serious? This season is probably the best Texans season there was. We beat the colts. Our record doesn't indicate the truth. We lost 3-4 very close game that we should have won and i blame it on the inexperience. Our record could have easily be 8-7 right now. Our players are finally feeling happy and confidense. They know they are a good team and a little momentum for them can get them to playoffs. Also don't forget we will always have hard schedule in this league unlike Neworleans Saints.

Carr never even took the field with a 14-point lead. He left the field with a 14 point lead, but the next time he took the field, it was down to 7.
