Can Rick Dennison take the HC position instead of Wade? If we lose Sunday, I think something changes.
What makes him more qualified? Its surprising that he'd never called plays before, at any level, before last week's second half.... I don't think Kubiak is averse to letting somebody else call the plays (He let Kyle Shannahan do it his last year here), but obviously he doesn't feel anybody else on the current staff is more capable than himself. Right now, the interim coach mainly has to coordinate all the meetings with the individual coaches, and ensure there is a game plan in place for Sunday... doesn't mean its the right game plan, or that he'll even enforce it directly, just has to make sure the work is done prior to the game. I also hope Wade figures out a backup plan for when his defense is ineffective... haven't seen it yet.
