I have in good authority that few teams will go after shumpert and raise his price . he is almost certain to be matched but wont come as cheap as the cavs would have wanted.
That could give Lebron a Ray Allen type of shooter. If Johnson has anything left in the tank, that could be a fantastic deal for them.
Cavs tried to recruit JJ on LBJ's initial Cavs stint. But got Larry Hughes instead. Cavs LT bill will be murder!
Lebron is gonna do his best to make sure Dan Gilbert is butt nekkid and broke before he leaves the game.
uh oh. That isn't good. King will do it to save millions in taxes. Damnit. Johnson has a lot in the tank still and coming off the bench? This sux.
This may be the cavs lineup next season : Kyrie/Mo Williams/Delly Johnson/Shumpert/ LeBron/Jr Smith Kevin/West Mosgov/Tristan ..... tax of 200 million. It's theirs to lose if this happens.
^ That is a heck of a stacked roster! If the Cavs end up getting Joe Johnson, I bet they DON'T re-sign JR Smith.
LOL good luck to Gilbert. IIRC whatever tax you pay is just the beginning, if you stay in tax for around 2-3 years it automatically increases from $1 to $1.5, and then if you still stay in it'll further go up to $2 per dollar over the lux tax line. Gilbert could be paying Les Alexander and the rest of the owners up to $400M when it's all said and done.

Wonder if the Cavs are trying to put some heat on the Nets to take on Andy's contract. I am sure the Cavs would rather have JJ to Crawford. Start a bidding war.
