    Not happening.

    Especially with EGo, GM, Snipa and DJ fighting for minutes.

    If JC figures out how to play efficiently at PG spot he can backup KPJ but Wall might have something to say about that as well.

    RGV doesn't play for another week. Maybe just to get practice/film time with the majors? The self-loathing Rockets fans are already rooting for Jalen to fail but I really doubt JC is here to take his minutes.

    Also it's gonna be weird typing JC but also I'm not calling him Jaygup.

    Not sure why Nix and Garuba were called up.

    Especially because they were getting all the needed reps with Vipers plus developing a winning culture.

    Is Augustin and/or multiple players on verge of a trade?

    The whole G league plays no defense thing is overblown.

    Of course the defense isn't as tough as the NBA -its young players thrown together in new groups every season . But the scores aren't crazy and it or the average o and d rating for each league is nearly identical - 108.3 NBA vs. 109.2 for G.

    And Vipers actually play defense under Abdelfattah.

    Garuba was playing well so happy to see him back where he'll get minutes. I could've been wrong about JC, maybe he is in Houston to stay? Would be a hard sell to send him back to RGV.

    Not trying to diss Jalen Green at all but after his rehab I don't think anyone should mind him getting a couple GL games in. I think it would be a mistake to expect his conditioning to be at peak level from the first game back. Playing some inferiors and seeing the ball go in a few extra times couldn't possibly hurt his confidence either. They gotta get him going somehow, just saying throwing him back into the fire might not do it. Sengun was born in the fire, obviously. JC got some time to heat up and it's paid off. Garuba getting more burn and seeming like it's helping him too. I'm not dogging the 19 year old, I believe in his future but right now I think it's time to find a better idea than throwing him back into a bad situation.
