Dallas 11-11 and the 11 seed despite Wood putting up stats. Luka playing like Harden as well and somehow James would have us at the 1-3 seed. How is possible?

Dunno, some (one or two, anyway) people seem to think trading him was a mistake. Letting him go is one of the top reasons I like this year more than the last

Meh. I didn't expect too much from this one.

I'm actually glad Silas decided to reduce Smith and Sengun's minutes this game, for whatever reason.
At least Eason, Guruba and other second unit guys got some burn.

Hopefully, a more competitive team will be showing up for the home game vs. the Sixers.

mavs are relatively strong and deep at the wing compared to their position #1 & 5. acquisition of wood strengthens their paint a bit but they know further moves are needed. hope walker can come back healthy and also they manage to get a solid defensive big (noel for exemple).

Mavs are only 13-12 despite Luka putting up a near 33/9/9 line. Crazy.

I read 3 articles about Mavs and understood that people in Dallas realized CWood is not the player they projected. Javale is a bust also. Thus Mavs doesn't have defensive C and offensive C. Their next step to get Myles Turner/Jacob Poetl/Mo Bamba.

The funny thing is some people in Dallas still consider themselves as contender.Daydreamers.

Maybe we can trade Fernando to them for a pick. A lob threat center with Luka would be unstoppable. ;)

Fernando was acquired as a salary filler (together with Enes Freedom) during Theis-Schroder swap and was a two way player just few months ago. Do you think they will settle with Fernando after eyeing Turner/Poetl/Bamba? Fernando and KPJ can only start under Silas type coach. They have no chance anywhere else as starter.

And also, as Brunson already left, Doncic and Dinwiddie can not be obtained, which player would you like to add? We have lots of wings, lacking a real PG (Mavs does not have a spare one) or a back-up PF (David Bertans). Bertans earns $16M, Bruno araound $2.5M. Who else you want to send Dallas additionally? Bruno+Tate+KJM+Gary Bird for Bertans?

There is a proverb: " Don't fight with drunkard, he will collapse soon". Mavs is a drunkard at the moment, best not to touch.

It's funny but the NBA season so far seems to say that the one or two star thing isn't working well. More balanced teams are the ones winning more games, seems to me. Stephanie also having an all-world season, but the W's are losing plenty of games b/c they have no balance (and a dreadful bench).
