They are going to lose this game. But let’s not ignore the effort the last two weeks. They look good with the worst QB in the league and a average run defense. It doesn’t take much to improve a run defense.
What’s messed up is this is the Mills we saw at the end of last season, they open up the offense and he looks better. Not saying he’s the future or anything like that. But he looks serviceable when they run plays. And this is without top two receivers and top RB

It’s easy to game plan for read options, they know what Driskel is going to do. Mills is making plays on 2nd and 3rd reads, receivers are running cleaner routes and Mills is throwing more accurately. But the route trees and combos are looking different too
